January 14, 2008 USB drives are usually treated pretty roughly whether in the bottom of a bag or attached to a set of keys. Designed to cope with these knocks and bumps that come hand-in-hand with portability, Corsair's ruggedized all-rubber Flash Voyager and aluminum-encased water-proof Flash Survivor line of USB drives have now been expanded to 32GB capacity.

The 32GB capacity means the drives can hold over 16 full-length high-definition movies or an entire season of a TV series, giving users a rugged solution for storing, transporting and backing up large amounts of personal and professional data. These large density drives can also be used as portable back-up devices for critical or sensitive information. In addition, Corsair 32GB USB 2.0 drives are bootable, which means users can actually store full versions of operating systems and applications in order to quickly “re-create” the necessary software environments to troubleshoot system problems.

The Corsair Flash Voyager (USD$229.99) and Flash Survivor ($249.99) debuted at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show and are available for purchase now. Each drive is bundled with a lanyard, security software/driver preloaded, and USB extension cable and is backed by a 10-year Limited Warranty.
