"The biggest area of improvement in home automation at the 2002 CEDIA Show in Minneapolis was that of user interfaces" according to Australian CEDIA President Gordon Anderson. One of the major releases in the interface area was the G4 range of controllers from AMX, which offers more colours, animation, video, a vastly improved interface qnd provides a single unified control panel for the entire home. The top-of the-range 15" monitor will sell for AUS$20,000 and that's just the controller.
