MSI's Wind Top Professional and Entertainment All-in-One computers are to be joined by a new Classic model. The super quiet AC1900 is said to have low power requirements, and benefits from a high performance processor, good sized storage, Wi-Fi wireless connectivity and a DVD drive.

Built around an 18.5-inch, 1366 x 768 resolution, 16:9 widescreen display, MSI's newest All-in-One computer has an Intel Celeron Dual Core E3400 processor running at 2.6GHz on an Intel G41 + ICH7 chipset at its heart, supported by an included 2GB of DDR3 memory (max 4GB). Storage of digital entertainment files is taken care of by a 320GB SATA II HDD, and any extra requirement can be added via the USB 2.0 ports or the 6-in-1 card reader.

There's also the option to read and write digital data to optical disc, courtesy of the DVD Super Multi drive to the right of the screen. The Wind Top AC1900 also features 802.11b/g wireless LAN, a 1.3 megapixel webcam and built-in 3W high-fidelity stereo speakers. The system comes supplied with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

I'm almost ashamed to admit that my gaming monster sitting in the corner is powered by a somewhat noisy 650W power supply unit. By comparison, the AC1900 comes with a 120W AC adapter and is said never exceed to noise levels of 36dB.

As per usual, MSI has not mentioned pricing or availability for the Wind Top AC1900, but there is a link to MSI stockists on the product page.

Nice product. I\'d like to see a variant with a battery, touchscreen and media center app. It would be extremely versatile.

Wow, \"There\'s also the option to read and write digital data to optical disc, courtesy of the DVD Super Multi drive to the right of the screen\", when did DVD drives come out ? My three year old laptop has a blu-ray drive with 802.11n and it is funny to read articles like this of new desktop PCs with 802.11b/g. This thing better be cheap using dated hardware like that.

Sounds like a 21.5\" iMac.
