The Ryno has a top speed of around 10 mph. It comes with two operational settings, “beginner” and “standard”. Beginner setting is set to 6mph/11kph, and the standard setting is set to 10mph/17kph. 10 mph is roughly equal to a 6-minute mile, a really fast run.
Even though you ride the RYNO solo – it doesn’t mean you can’t take things with you. The US$170 Ryno rack is compatible with most bicycle pannier-style bags, so you can hit the grocery store, carry your laptop, or whatever else you need when you’re out and about.
The production RYNO goes on sale in the next few months, culminating six years of research and development, three major prototypes, capital raising and a fascinating personal journey for Chris Hoffmann
