June 10, 2008 Taking a baby’s temperature can be hard work and easy-to-use methods such as thermometers that go in the ear can be quite expensive. This cost conscious device from Summer Infant is a Pacifier Thermometer that works by simply popping it in your child’s mouth.

Shaped like a regular pacifier, it has a small screen on the front to display the temperature. Parents need only place the silicone orthodontic nipple in baby’s mouth and the pacifier will beep once the reading is complete. It also has a red and a green Fever Alert glow feature and the option to display temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
