Don't want to think what would happen to the structure if that water ever froze.

Waiting for the next tremor to bring that amount of weight crashing down.

Same thing that happens in your ice tray. The top would bubble up a bit since it's open top and not sealed like a closed beer bottle freezing.

Same thing that happens to your ice cube tray.

That is incredible! I'm going to be in London this August (if they let me in) and I will have to go see this in person!

I've done a lot of crazy and dangerous things but I'm not brave enough to try that. Buildings and structures flex, expand, and sway slightly. They would need to build this in a way that allows it to move slightly independent of the buildings (ie free floating) or the forces the moving building would put on it would damage it. Now walking on a glass bridge is one thing but crossing one while I'm sharing it with a dump truck is another and the water is heavier. The weight of the water in an olympic sized swimming is 5.5 million lbs. This is less water than that but it's still an extraordinary amount of weight to put on a glass bridge.

We really need to eat the rich! This is the stupidest bow to narcissism I have ever seen.

Not for me, can’t think of anything more terrifying. Besides I’d sh*t the pool if I had a swim in it. Might upset the neighbours....

Before using - Compulsory watching of the film Mechanic 2 (great film) and the shots of the guy on the bridge where the glass panels cracked and broke.
Now go for your dip.......
