Got a shock to see it at first - but then.... must be the perfect "prepper" car - bullet-proof and autonomous - sort of.... Its a SUV - Pickup crossover.... that can be handy here up north...

The design is polarizing and that's OK. Not everyone will buy one but not everyone needs to. There is some amount of appeal just because there is nothing else like it on the road or even close. I'm glad it's not an F-150 clone and I like their approach.

All the initial bad reviews about Tesla Cybertruck seemed unreasonably excessive to me (almost as a coordinated/paid bad press campaign)!
IMHO, it seems really no different than all other Tesla vehicles so far: Total Innovation!
(Just 1 example: THINK about how much less paint would be used @ whole world, if all vehicles had stainless steel body & how much durability & cheap repairs that would bring!)

The window breaking is a non-issue. That is just what happens with any side window EXCEPT I believe according to DOT only front window needs to be laminated. All other windows can be tempered so it shatters into small non-sharp bits.

Oh yeah? The sledgehammer cracked the laminated door glass? Then why did the other window break as well? Did you see the size of the ball bearing that guy threw at it? Could be a brilliant Elon Musk publicity stunt. A Cybertruck that is 'almost' invincible. Nothing is perfect ya know...

I'm having a really weird dream where an alien's car, designed by a six-year old on a ZX Spectrum in 1983 was revealed to whoops of applause and 200,000 pre-orders in 2019. I hope I wake up soon.

This is a very cool vehicle. I'm glad it looks different. Now if I only had a place to charge it at home (I live in an apartment). The only thing keeping me from buying electric is the quick charging battery, but it will be coming very soon...

Never ever thought of buying a "pickup" truck, til now. If only I had the money. Even better if I could drive it on mars, or maybe the moon (our moon).
