Kee-riste! That is ugly on par with Beijing Stadium.

what are the examples of the original 'American Master Craftsmanship'. old INdians?... as for the steampunk bikes..they look kool and all...but i never rode a bike for the cool looks.

The front suspension puts me in mind of BMW's recent K bikes which feature solid front forks attached to a double wishbone isolating suspension from steering. The BMW system called Duolever is based on an English design by an inventor called Norman Hassock. I know for a fact that it works extremely well since I owned a K1200S. However, BMW have massive resources and can test and retest until they get it right. These guys may be selling an over complicated version which may work or may not. If I was forking out $250,000 it probably wouldn't be going to these guys despite how cool the design or unique the concept. I love my life and whilst I have seen an indicated 174mph on my K1200S (on a racetrack) I felt completely and utterly safe. Would I feel safe on this bike? I doubt it very much!

Thought you'd be way over 500k, 250 is a deal.

I would imagine, or certainly hope if I was one of these three potential buyers, that someday these bikes might be worth much more than their $250,000 asking price. Considering that one of the Captain America bikes that Fonda supposedly rode in the movie Easy Rider, just sold at auction for $1.3+ million ($1.6+M with auction fees), and that that bike is reputed to be poor handling and uncomfortable to ride; then perhaps these three might be worth much more in the future -- especially considering there will only ever be three of them!

The amazing thing in my opinion, is how this guy managed to con someone to give him that much money to design such a monstrosity.
Paul Axford
That is truly hideous!

Visually disturbing attempt to steam punk there previous bike. Ended up with Steam Puke. I'm trademarking that.

This grotesque contrivance started a movement that made me rush for the toilet

Absolutely beautiful, I'd own any of those in a heartbeat if I had a lazy 250K to spare!
