HOLY PRICE TAG BATMAN!
Chizzy
not affordable at all
CAVUMark
Once again, small homes big price.
Dax Wagner
The pricing is downright offensive!

It is always fun to read and see these Gizmag tiny house concepts. Then the price pops up and you have to wonder under what economic system these structures are built. 'Fourteen weeks' construction time? Does that include the time needed to vet the Italian sculptors and glass blowers, and chauffeur them to the Wall Street construction site?
10 year guarantee! At these prices they should be certifiable for a century in deep space! They look like dumpsters or shipping crates wrapped in weathered wood, packing slats.
$76,000 for a 8x10 closet? There has to be a misplaced comma on all of these prices.

An equally well equipped motor home could be purchased for the same or or probably a lot less, which would have the advantage of mobility, and style.
If they are compared with 'prefabs' built after WW2 in the UK, they are nowhere near as appealing, with or without a lawn on the roof, which would probably become a weed-patch quite rapidly, without constant maintenance. Carrying a mower up a ladder to access the roof would not be my choice of amusement.
These constructions look like converted garden sheds, built from pallets, and for £200,000 I think potential buyers will look elsewhere for a home.

"The Bert and May Group was inspired to design the Big Box home from its firm belief that everyone should have access to an affordable and sustainable home. . ."
Apparently once Bert & May's inspiration kicked in - their belief in affordability got kicked OUT!

At $350,000 for 500 square feet, how the hell could ANYONE (let alone, everyone) "afford" one?

These are all non starters.

I think those are really nice designs.
It is a shame that such cool small / tiny houses would have such big prices.
