Mabbamam August 1, 2016 12:15 AM I always get on here at bed time to get updated and read about insanely cool and/or mind expanding stuff. Logged on tonight and was like wtf just happened.. oooh! Cool stuff people. Thanks for all y'all do and always looking forward. FrankTidswell August 1, 2016 03:08 AM Congratulations and here's to the next 15 years. I very much enjoy the articles you report. Cheers, Frank email@example.com August 1, 2016 03:22 AM Always keen to see renewal, but I must say "New Atlas" seems a much less cool name than Gizmag. Can't follow the rationale for the change. However, whatever you call it, your site is great and I always scan it for interesting tidbits, and OFTEN post links off to friends and family. Good luck with the next 15 years! Joe B August 1, 2016 03:32 AM I visit this website every day and even though I understand why you changed the name I really don't like it. Gizmag has a ring to it whereas New Atlas sounds like a website for maps and in my opinion isn't catchy at all. EricSimpson August 1, 2016 03:33 AM I really liked Gizmag. I don't get "newatlas." But I'll still come here. FluxFlux August 1, 2016 06:22 AM Great site, awful new name. Not sure why you'd take such a strong brand and re-label it with something so weak. If I came across this name on a google search and didn't know it was you I'd just pass over it. Hope it works out though and you keep going! Cleetus McTavish August 1, 2016 06:27 AM Wow, the name "Gizmag" makes me think of new gizmos and new tech. New Atlas makes me think of a cartographer's website. I can tell you now that all them years ago I would not have clicked on "New Atlas". Good luck with the new name but I think you will be stuck with us Gizmag readers you already have, It's gonna be hard growing the mag with a mapmakers handle. Just sayin. KaiserPingo August 1, 2016 06:41 AM Congrats ! I get that Gizmag is a bit "narrow", but "New Atlas" ??? What's the rationale behind that ? "New Atlas" sounds a bit like old men in suits and big corporations with no feelings for the average man..., and so is that weird cold blue colour... Well, it's your choise ! I'll stil drop by. CzechsterMarek August 1, 2016 12:20 PM Keep up the great work. About the only thing I look forward to when I open my mail. It is always a treat to see what new technology is our there. Wish you all fifteen more years. Hamstersniffer August 1, 2016 12:35 PM Okay, what's done is done and as long as the content stays as awesome I guess it's okay......BUT, and it's a big BUT, I'm not happy. Been a GizMag subscriber and lover for quite some time. It's just such a fun name. I feel the same as if somebody told me BEER was no longer going to be called BEER, but instead it would only be referred to as 'WET AND HAPPY'. I could never tell my wife I'm going to run out and get 'WET AND HAPPY'! R.I.P. GizMag. We loved you well. Long live New Atlas (even though it's a stupid name).
