Should you be wondering what Infiniti's next sports coupe will look like, then look no farther than its recently-revealed Q60 Concept. According to the automaker, the 2+2 coupe is "very close" in design to a production-model coupe, to be made next year. A car based on the earlier-announced Q30 Concept will likewise be heading into production.

Unveiled this week at the 2015 North American International Auto Show, the two-door fastback Q60 measures 4,690 mm (184.6 inches) long, 1,865 mm (73.4 in) wide and 1,370 mm (53.9 in) high. Among its exterior features are a double arch grille, aerodynamic tail spoiler, and 21-inch wheels with spokes finished in a combination of matte black and high-gloss black chrome.

On the inside, it features a hand-stitched leather-wrapped instrument panel, steering wheel and door inserts, along with leather bucket seats in both the front and rear. Additionally, carbon fiber is used in the door accents.

Powering the Q60 is a new 3.0-liter V6 engine with direct injection and twin-turbocharging. That engine was first showcased in the Q80 Concept, and is intended to "reduce fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions while boosting power and torque."

The car also features Infiniti's drive-by-wire Direct Adaptive Steering system, which first appeared in the Q50 sports sedan. According to the company, this transmits the driver's intentions to the wheels faster than a traditional mechanical system.

Finally, the Q60's new Infiniti InTuition system is able able to accommodate multiple drivers, by storing four sets of preferred vehicle settings including driving position, heating and cooling, audio, navigation, and telematics.

There's currently no word on exactly when we can expect to see the production vehicle based on the Q60, or on pricing.

Looks same as G20 body style, nothing radical here
