Nausicaa is a beautiful movie capable of inspiring someone to make this, a beautiful aircraft. I can't wait to see a safe functional powered version.

jet powered gliders... heee-haaaa ermm wait... gliders don't have engines in them, right? I mean, that would kind of change them into normal airplanes , won't it....
just saying... :)

Möwe = Seagull in English. (Mehve is just a poor way to spell it for English pronunciation, Moeve could be better (if one can't work out how to soud the w (german, vee) )
Call it a jet motor-glider, or jet powered self launching glider to remove naming ambiguity.

He's being at it for quite some time now. The challenge here is not putting a jet engine into a glider: There are already several jet powered gliders successfully flying in Germany and possibly elsewhere. The challenge is the flying wing design, which is more dynamically complex compared to the 'traditional' wing-and-tailfeathers design.
I think the guy is building a dream rather than an airplane, which is only making it harder. Though, why give up a dream just like that? So go on Hachiya, go!

That is a sweet tailless glider. With a good enough autopilot I could see a wing walker stand up on it. Of course wing walking has never been considered particularly safe.

It's extremely unstable. The wing ends should be flat or angled slightly up. And it better have really, really great airfoil stability or without the towline it's likely just drop out of the sky from either of these.
Flying wings are doable but not easy. And I love them even.
Someone will die if they keep even tow lining this one.
Fritz Menzel
Wow! You're right about somebody dyin' but what a way to go. I think an extended straight tail could help stabilize (like a stingray in water). Would be an interesting experiment.

re; jerryd & Fritz Menzel
Aside from the fact that the video does not show any signs of the M-02 being particularly unstable there are several planes with the outer wing sections angled down to improve stability.
