When you have a busy lifestyle or you're traveling, it can be difficult to get enough sleep. To combat this, Kawamura Ganjavian dreamt up the now (in)famous Ostrich Pillow, which became a reality in 2012. The subsequent Ostrich Pillow Light was slightly more practical, as too is the new Ostrich Pillow Mini.

Unlike its forbears, the Mini doesn't wrap around the user's head to block out light and noise. Instead, it is designed just as a means of cushioning the user's head. It has hand and thumb holes so it can be worn on the hand or it can be slid up the user's arm to wherever they find resting their head most comfortable.

The Ostrich Pillow Mini has a light grey exterior with users able to choose from midnight grey, sleepy blue, dreamtastic coral and mellow yellow interiors. It is made of 95 percent viscose and 5 percent elastomero, which we're assured makes it "super soft, cosy and plush!"

A Kickstarter campaign is underway for the Ostrich Pillow Mini. Individuals can pledge from US$20 to receive one, assuming the campaign is successful and all goes to plan with production.

The video below is the Kickstarter pitch for the Ostrich Pillow Mini.

the first ostrich pillow had such bad reviews and such low sales, that the initial price of 100 is now 10 dollars plus shipping from chinese wholesalers...
