And MSRP? I usually look at that when evaluating products.

What if I want an Android device just to use as a PDA, getting internet access through WiFi?
I have a LG env2 with Verizon and a Palm LifeDrive with the Microdrive replaced by a 4gig compact flash card. Standard SD cards up to 2gig work in it and should the need arise there\'s a 3rd party SDHC driver.
What\'s not so hot about this is there\'s no decent web browser for Palm OS (Opera Mini will not complete its installation.). The screen is nice but 320x480 is a bit small at times. Finally there\'s some things even the Intel XScale 416 MHz CPU strains a bit on and it only has 32megs of real RAM (used for caching) and only 64 meg of the hard drive (or CF card) is used for \"RAM\".
Battery life is very good, especially after the CF card swap.

i like the xperia x10

Under The Screens, the author writes about the Xperia X10 \"You\'re not going to find greater pixel density outside of HTC\'s Windows Mobile devices.\" Above that, the specifications say 245 pixels per inch. But also in the specifications for the Desire it lists 252 pixels per inch. 252 pixels per inch is more pixel density than 245 pixels per inch. What\'s up with that?

@PizzaEater - Basically, a Desire/AMOLED pixel is not your average pixel. Check the links to Ars Technica or Display Mate :)

Purchased my HTC Desire 2 nights ago and love it. Its everything i expected from all the reviews and videos I\'ve seen. Bought the phone through Telstra who have exclusive rights to it for the first few months.
One thing that annoys me about that is that the phone appears to have their branding on it. Totally annoys the hell out of me. Want to remove it but I would most likely have to flash it Sad. Came across http://www.HTCDesireForum.com not sure how good it is, but worth a look.

great review. seems the x10 is probably one of the best unlocked smartphones right now. processor is faster, email is great, the touch screen is so responsive and easy to use. and i like the keys too. way better than my old unlocked iphones. feels good, looks amazing so trendy. the web browser and gps are great for my business and my wife loves hers for the recorder and pictures, great for catching the kids. we love our unlocked 3g phones. the facebook is good for when me and my wife are bored and the games and apps are fun too. battery life lasts me all day too so I dont have to worry about charging it either. got our last couple unlocked touch screen phones at gsmallover.com and we love them. 2 thumbs way up

I have to say, i had the soney xperia x 10 and after 5 replacements due to the keypad not working, the phone not awcknoledging the sim card, the phone being unable to take a picture without pressing and holding the button about 8 or 9 times, the phone turning itself off and resetting itself meaning you have to input all the info again, the unresponsive screen, and to top it off the internet was ridiculusly slow, and up until today i didnt realise. but just got the htc desire as a replacement and have to say with an hour of using it it is far superior to the xperia x 10, the music options are better to the fact it allows you to shuffle all the music on your phone so it can effectively play your whole playlist without it always being in the same boring order, i always found it hugely irritating to have to create a playlist. I would go as far to say if i had a choice between the W95 erricson and the Xperia x 10 i would go for the w95 as for usability i found it way more responsive, music use was superior the camera was reliable and worked, internet about the same; really what im trying to say here is the Xperia x 10 is a huge failing and just simply doesnt deliver, its the reason i changed to a different make of phone and i would probably say that i wont be returning to a sony ericsson phone next time my contract is up for renewal

@Facebook User above me, I have no idea what youre saying when you say you cant shuffle your whole song list, yes you can, and ive had no problem so far with keypad, camera is sharp and very nice, the screen IS responsive, and the internet is the fastest ive come across so far, my guess is, once the new update comes out, in a few days, it\'ll just get even better.

I believe most of the shortcomings of the Xperia X10 comes from the software part. Though it does have less RAM than the Desire. But once it gets upgraded to Android 2.1 (or 2.2) it should be the better one. I\'m preemptively going to buy the Xperia X10 now that Sony Ericsson has confirmed the Android 2.1 upgrade in Q4. Xperia does have a bigger screen and a better camera.
