I wonder how well it handles boilovers and grease fires. Or anything else slightly unanticipated.

Will there be a fully automated kitchen drudge to do the washing up?
Bill S.
My wife has no idea where the kitchen is so this will be a great idea for me. Thank goodness for pre-nups.

Soon we'll have robots to do everything for us, and then we will just be blobs on riding sleds like in WALLE.

Going to suck for customers on the day when Moley takes their server down and all their installations become useless. I have a much smaller investment in smart light switches, and I'm waiting for the day when Leviton stops supporting them and I can no longer turn my lights on anymore. All of the smart-things will be obsoleted at some point.

Too many cuts in that video, makes me think this thing is slow as hell. I would love a robot chef, but it should be done with a mobile robot, like the one Samsung showed off a week ago (bot handy), not some huge set of arms mounted to your ceiling.

Cooking is the enjoyable part of an evening meal, it is the cleaning up afterward and restocking that is a pain. Home deliveries are helping with restocking, but cleaning up remains a difficult chore.

@Michael Erickson - Different people enjoy different things. I get no pleasure out of cooking.

@Username - totally agree. If I were Apple, that's where I would deploy its pile of cash rather than on artsy stuff.
