SanDisk and Toshiba have announced breakthroughs in multi-bit-per-cell technology for NAND Flash memories that will bring advances in chip densities and cost savings to next generation devices ranging from memory cards to Solid State Drives (SSD).

The Sansa slotMusic Player was designed for use with the new slotMusic cards - microSD card’s containing pre or self loaded music. Artist-branded players are also available bearing the artist’s name and image and a pre-loaded 1GB slotMusic card.
