The 2024 Cuprinol Shed of the Year winner has been announced. Wayne Dawber has got the nod for his gloriously nostalgic self-built creation named Wrinkly, Rusty and Retro, which was constructed using recycled and reclaimed materials.

Following its Tiny house du Lac, France's Plume recently created another compact model. Though it has a length of only 6 m (20 ft), its flexible space-saving layout allows it to sleep up to four people.

French tiny houses tend to be a lot smaller than US models. However, few are as portable as the Tiny house du Lac, which despite its length of just 5.4 m sleeps two people – or even a family of three, at a squeeze.

Ridgeline Tiny Homes proves that sometimes less can be more with its Sun Valley model. The tiny house embraces a simple open layout that flatters the small space available and would be a good fit as a vacation home or second home.

Online marketplace Tiny House Listings recently turned its hand to tiny house design. Its latest model features a light-filled interior that's mostly arranged on one floor and has a relatively low starting price of $70,500.
