You just never know when you might find yourself in a situation where your computer needs to be doused in water or run over by a pickup truck. The original waterproof Stealth WPC-500F had you covered for the water situation, but the latest model adds the strength to withstand the weight of a pickup truck running it over.
The new Stealth, called WPC-525F, is completely water tight, so if you decide to chuck your Mountain Dew after you are unjustly shot in the head during an intense game of Counter Strike, you won't have to worry about your precious computer being destroyed by the sticky liquid.

The computer does not have a fan. Instead, it relies on its aluminum enclosure to serve as a heat sink. This keeps the computer quiet, and the solid state drive helps keep the computer free of moving parts.
As far as actual computing goes, the Stealth WPC-525F is not going to blow you away with its high-end specs, but it will get the job done. It comes standard with 4 GB of RAM, onboard Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150, a 120 GB solid state drive, and Intel ICH8M chipset. The base model comes with an Intel Dual-Core D525 processor running at 1.8 GHz.
It is designed to work with Windows 7, but interested buyers can contact Stealth to set up a machine with the OS of their choice.
The WPC-525F comes with an integrated 10/100/1000 Base-T Realtek Gigabit Ethernet controller for connecting to a network. It also includes two internal Mini-PCIe expansion slots for adding new hardware to the system.
The Stealth comes with USB ports for connecting external devices, but you cannot use standard USB cables, as the connectors need to be waterproof as well. It uses watertight bayonet connections and adapter cables, which will be a little more costly to replace than a standard USB cable.
The computer is also small enough to carry around easily. While it's not quite as portable as a laptop because it needs to be connected to mains power and a monitor, it's still pretty small. It comes in at 10.15 inches (25.8 cm) wide x 6.22 inches (15.8 cm) deep x 2.04 inches (5.2 cm) tall.
The base model starts at US$1,595 and can be customized if you need higher-end specs. If you find yourself in a situation where your computer could be at risk of being damaged, (like using a computer in a driveway), then the Stealth WPC-525F might be your solution.View gallery - 19 images
