New Atlas Privacy Policy update

New Atlas privacy policy has changed
New Atlas privacy policy has changed

Given the deluge of privacy policy announcements of late, many of you will already be aware that important new data privacy rules – the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – take effect in Europe on May 25, 2018. The new rules are designed to protect privacy and promote a secure and transparent internet. In support of these goals we have made changes to our privacy policy and are introducing new tools to give readers control over what personal data we collect and store.

We have not changed the way we collect and use personal data, rather the improvements to our privacy policy are designed to better help you understand exactly what data we collect, as well as how we store, use, and protect it.

Readers in the European Economic Area will also be required to give explicit consent regarding collection of data.

You can read our updated privacy policy, or if you have any questions, please email privacy@newatlas.com.

Thanks for reading New Atlas!
