Short of a phone line? This wireless telephone and web extension system from Thomson converts any mains outlet into a phone socket or modem jack. The device consists of a base unit that plugs into the existing phone jack and an extension unit that can be plugged in wherever an extra line is needed. What a dumb idea. I bought a Uniden base phone with 3 wireless handsets for under $100 and the handsets only need an outlet for charging as they connect to the base unit wirelessly. Why buy an extension system for cord phones?
