Rosetta Stone, the well-known language learning software that has helped millions worldwide learn a language without translation or memorization has moved into the online and Web 2.0 realm with it’s new language learning solution TOTALe. TOTALe combines three elements - the Rosetta Course, offered in 31 languages, Rosetta Studio, where you can practice with native-speaking Studio Coaches and other learners at your level in a real-time, and Rosetta World, a structured online community where you can practice and hone your language skills with native speakers and other learners at your level through fun and engaging games.

The Rosetta Course has been used in more than 150 countries to help people learn to speak, listen, read and write in a new language by connecting words with vivid imagery in real-life contexts. With the addition of the collaborative and interactive Rosetta Studio sessions (12 are included with TOTALe, one for each unit of the course) and Rosetta World, learners of any age can quickly build confidence in their new language.

Tom Adams, CEO of Rosetta Stone says, “Rosetta Stone TOTALe is truly the best way to learn at your own pace while receiving personalized coaching and encouragement to achieve language success. You will not find a more comprehensive, interactive or more effective language-learning experience online.”

TOTALe learners will also have their own Customer Success Team with “Success Agents” who provide live guidance and encouragement from explaining the method, answering questions or helping to schedule a Studio session.

“In today’s competitive environment, more individuals are looking to better themselves, gain an edge within the expanding global workplace or simply connect with others. Rosetta Stone TOTALe is the comprehensive solution that will empower individuals and unlock their natural language learning ability,” said Adams.

Founded in 1992, Rosetta Stone went public earlier this year.

Rosetta Stone TOTALe is available for a twelve month subscription at the introductory price of US$999. It is currently only available to customers in the United States and Canada and will be introduced globally at a later date.
