Cable cars are handy for transporting cargo up mountain slopes, but what if you want to do the same sort of thing on a smaller scale? Well, you could try using a tiny new light-powered robot, which is cable of carrying items up thin mid-air tracks.

World's first international cable car planned to link Russia and China

UN Studio has been selected to design a new cable car terminal in Russia. Assuming all goes to plan, the project, described as the world's first cross-border cable car by the firm, will link with a counterpart in China and provide swift travel between the two countries.

Cable car planned for world's largest cave

A Vietnamese resort company has been granted approval to begin surveys to build a 10.6 kilometer long cable car in the world’s largest cave, the UNESCO-listed Son Doong in north-central Quang Binh province in Vietnam.
