Goal Zero

Portable solar power company Goal Zero has launched the Rock Out 2 Solar Speaker, a “rugged and waterproof” portable speaker that is powered by the sun and features Bluetooth connectivity.

There is a breed of campers that can’t stand to be separated from their technology, be it digital music, videos, tablet computers, drink blenders, etc. For them, there's a new generation of high-tech tents wired to power all the latest portable gadgetry.

Telecomms provider AT&T has partnered with portable solar power systems developer Goal Zero and Brooklyn design studio Pensa for the roll out of Street Charge public solar charging stations in New York.

The Goal Zero Switch 8 is a small pocket charger that doubles as a flashlight and water purifier.
