Google has announced that it will bring its popular mobile platform to the living room in the form of Android TV. The new version of the OS will have a focus on simplicity and will support live TV, apps, voice search and even multiplayer gaming.

Google has released details on the next big installment of its mobile platform, known (at least for now) as Android L. The OS update will bring a range of improvements including better battery performance, an all new UI design language and full support for 64-bit processors.
