Human Universal Load Carrier

Following lab evaluation tests, Lockheed Martin's ruggedized HULC (Human Universal Load Carrier) robotic exoskeleton is now undergoing biomechanical testing with the U.S. Army.

eLEGS is a powered exoskeleton, that allows wheelchair users to walk.

Lockheed Martin is working with Protonex to develop fuel-cell-based power supplies that can power the HULC robotic exoskeleton at the same time as powering the soldier’s mission equipment.

Lockheed Martin has unveiled the Human Universal Load Carrier (HULC™) exoskeleton at the AUSA Symposium which is capable of moving in concert with the wearer and lifting loads of up to 200lb's.
