​Facebook's plan to bring the entire world online using a solar-powered, internet beaming aircraft has taken another step forward, with the company testing its Aquila drone for the second time.

​​Following the first full-scale testing of its solar-powered Aquila drone back in July, Facebook described the event as a success. Well, turns out that wasn't entirely true, with the aircraft coming a cropper on the landing.

Facebook has announced plans to launch a satellite into space next year designed to beam internet down to millions of people in Sub-Saharan Africa.
