Epic Games recently unveiled a remarkable demonstration of its latest real-time digital rendering system called Unreal Engine. The demonstration showed a completely digital copy of actor Andy Serkis reciting lines from Macbeth illustrating the rapid evolution of photorealistic digital effects.

The Blackbird is a VFX stand-in for car commercials and films. Its width, wheelbase, suspension action and engine response can be tuned to match pretty much any car, and its 360-degree cameras can be used to generate perfect reflections when you overlay the real car body onto it in post production.
