Logitech's new Pocket Digital is also credit card sized and holds up to 52 images at a resolution of 1.3 Megapixel in its 16MB internal memory. The Logitech Pocket Digital utilises a traditional viewfinder that retracts behind a protective sliding lens cover rather than an LCD display. The 'Autobrite' Image processing enhances the camera's ability to handle a mix of lighting conditions and accurately capture areas of bright and dim light in the same frame, compensating for the absence of a flash. The Pocket Digital also features an automatic battery recharging system that operates through the USB connection each time images are downloaded to PC. Available this month from major computer outlets, the Logitech Pocket Digital is expected to retail for AUS$329.
