Marshall is getting ready to unleash a pair of headphones that promise to deliver music the way it's meant to be heard

Marshall amplifiers have been at the center of rock's universe for nearly five decades. Next month will see the company take its audio know-how to more personal territory when the first pair of Marshall Headphones break cover. Instead of sporting Marshall's trademark distortion crunch, the new cans are promised to "render music the way it was meant to sound." Read on for what little information has been revealed and details of how to get access to more...

Partnering with Swedish headphone innovators Zound Industries, Marshall promises to bring its "heritage of big stage performance to the individual enjoyment of good music." As with any good teaser campaign, there's not much to go on other than a box shot showing some black phones and what looks like a gold-plated 0.25-inch jack, together with a release date of November 15. But with Marshall branding, users can bank on great sound quality and an iconic, must-have product.

Registering on the Marshall Headphones website is said to give buyers a two day head start on ordering, and there's a Facebook presence too. We'll have all you need to know nearer to the release date so don't touch that dial.
