Ares Design

Ares Design is known for four-wheel creations, but it's ready to prove it knows its way around two wheels, too. Partnering with ebike maker HPS, it presents a $22,000 ebike that weighs under 20 pounds and looks like a non-electric commuter.

Not willing to wait for the Tesla Roadster, one car enthusiast demanded a Tesla convertible, immediately. Ares Design was more than happy to take on the challenge. Slicing the roof and rear doors off, it turned sedan into Model S convertible.

Modena's Ares Design has taken the affordable, relatively friendly, mid-engined C8 Corvette Stingray motor and chassis and re-skinned it into something that looks like a million-dollar roofless hypercar, but that you can actually put some miles on.

Ares Design has started limited run production of its Panther ProgettoUno, a US$700k homage to the 1971 De Tomaso Pantera based on the guts of a Lamborghini Huracan. It looks terrific, goes like a Lambo - and yes, it rocks those classic pop-up headlights.
