Even though much of the world is being blanketed with internet signals through a variety of modalities, there are still places where getting a reliable high-speed broadband link is tough. AT&T has just announced a project that might help with that, called AirGig.

Georgia Tech is offering an accredited online Master of Science degree in Computer Science which will be open to public matriculation in the 2014-2015 school year. Built around Massive Open Online Courses, the goal is to equal the bricks and mortar degree for less than US$7K in tuition and fees.
