Bliss Mobil has launched its smallest camper module. Rather than being tied to a large HD truck chassis, the new Bliss 8 hard-sided pop-up cube rides aback smaller, nimbler 4x4 chassis like the Toyota Land Cruiser or Ford F-Series.

Bliss Mobil has created a beautiful compromise between roomy living and nimble off-road handling by planting a small pop-up motorhome box on the always-capable Mercedes Unimog and filling it with a four-sleeper layout tied together by a smart home system.

Among the big trucks of Overland Expo, one green machine stood out. A collaboration between American truck manufacturer Acela and Dutch camper module maker Bliss Mobil, this expedition motorhome braves Arctic winters, makes fresh water out of murky river, and lives comfortably off-grid.
