It takes a lot to stand out in today's crowded super/hyper/uber/mega car market, but famed F1 designer Gordon Murray has found several ways to make his upcoming T.50 supercar a true contender without bothering to chase speed or power records.

Aston Martin has released information about the combustion component of its insane Valkyrie hypercar's powertrain – and it's a doozy. Co-developed with Cosworth, this 6.5-liter V12 monster will make 1,000 hp, without the aid of forced induction – and in addition to electric motors.

The historic TVR marque will be reborn at this year's Goodwood Revival meeting in September. The name that made a habit out of using not very much to go awfully fast will be resurrected on the 70th anniversary of its birth.
