Italian electric race-bike outfit CRP Racing has announced its first road-going superbike, the Energica.

Honda has confirmed that the Crosstourer concept shown at EICMA last year will go into production. The Crosstourer will offer the V4 engine from the VFR1200F, long travel suspension, and the option of a Dual Clutch Transmission.

In a raft of announcements, Honda has released details of a highly fuel-efficient, very torquey 700cc twin cylinder engine, a second-generation lightweight Dual Clutch Transmission and a new 125 engine with an idle-stop system.
