Fortress

Stack Rock Fort has an interesting history. English statesman Thomas Cromwell originally proposed a fort on the site back in 1539, before losing his head to Henry VIII. It was built in 1852 and served to protect against invasion from Napoleon III. The dilapidated building is now on the market.
