Foveon

The sd Quattro and sd Quattro H are a pair of newly-announced mirrorless cameras from Sigma. The duo will feature APS-C and APS-H sized versions of the firm’s Foveon X3 (Quattro generation) image sensor and use the SA lens mount.

Sigma has announced the forthcoming release of its flagship SD1 digital SLR camera, with a new version of the X3 sensor, dual image processing engines and improved ISO sensitivity.

At PMA 2010 Sigma, known primarily for their lenses, introduced their top-end SD15 DSLR as well as five new lenses and two new compact digi cams.
