Diamonds are famously formed under high pressure and temperature, which is partly why they’re so valuable. But now, scientists have created diamonds in a lab under regular pressure in just 15 minutes.

Scientists in South Korea have found that they can deliver a fatal blow to cancer cells by selectively targeting the waste disposal systems cancer cells rely on, through a careful mix of charged nanoparticles that causes them to swell up and die.
