Should you ever have wondered who invented the self-balancing "hoverboard" … well, it was a man named Shane Chen. He has now incorporated that same technology into a design for a two-wheeled electric car, appropriately named the Shane.

Shane Chen's Inventist is the firm responsible for an e-unicycle known as the Solowheel and the much copied Hovertrax "hoverboard." Now the team has hit Kickstarter with a new smaller and lighter version of the Solowheel called the Iota, which despite the name sports two wheels instead of one.

Riding a unicycle is infamously hard to master. While some people might say that that's the whole point in learning to do it, others just want to get riding that one-wheeled bicycle ASAP. If you're among the second group, then you might like Inventist's uniquely-designed Lunicycle.
