Metz demonstrated its new mecaHome+ home automation management system at IFA and there are some highly enticing aspects, most notably that it is entirely wireless and allows control of the home from a Metz TV for USD$270.

The 55 inch Metz Primus 55 FHDTV was on show at IFA and is due on sale in November - 200 Hz, LED with backlight with Local Area Dimming, integrated HDTV tuner, DVB-C and DVB-T, separate sound module and an expandable 500 GB digital PVR.
