  • The massive collection was gathered together by the Italian Government in 11 warehouses in Northern Italy, and just getting them to Milan required 100 transporters. When the collection was finally assembled in Fiero Milano, it covered 200,000 square feet - the equivalent of four football fields.

    One of the biggest automotive auctions ever held took place in Milan over the weekend of November 25-27, when 3,000 bidders fought over 817 cars, bikes and boats and five auctioneers operating the auction in shifts totaling 30 hours. There were world records and incredible bargains.​
