San Francisco's Mission Motorcycles has unveiled two new impressive electric motorcycles: the Mission RS and Mission R.

This is an electric racer with real class and presence, not to mention 160mph performance and superbike-spec Swedish suspension bits.

This battery-powered beast pulls power wheelies from faster than freeway speeds, handles like a dream and can top 150 miles on a battery charge. And now, a production prototype has taken the American land speed record for electric motorcycles.

In an exclusive audio interview, we speak to Jeremy Cleland, in charge of the Mission One team at the world's first electric motorcycle roadrace, the Isle of Man TTXGP.
