​Bikes with wooden frames are often thought of as being fine and classy … not unlike single malt Scotch whiskies. With that in mind, Renovo Hardwood Bicycles has partnered with distillery Glenmorangie to create the Glenmorangie Original – a limited-edition bike made from reclaimed whisky casks.

Renovo Motors has opened up the doors of its electric supercar's high-tech interior, showing the last piece of the authentically-bodied Shelby with 500-hp electric powertrain and cutting-edge Nvidia Tegra X1-powered infotainment system.

Electric vehicles and high performance aren't two concepts that naturally spring to mind together. One firm that wants to show that the concepts can be perfectly good bedfellows, however, is US startup Renovo. The company says its newly-announced Coupe is the "first all-electric American supercar."

Audi of America has teamed up with Renovo Hardwood Bicycles to create the duo – a line of bikes that feature monocoque frames made of hardwood.

Renovo hardwood and laminated bamboo bicycles are "the smoothest bike you'll ever ride, stealth quiet, light and responsive, stiff as you want".
