Australia's Savic Motorcycles has revealed its latest prototype as it gears up to begin testing and series production of its first electric motorcycle, the Series C cafe racer. We caught up with founder Dennis Savic to check out how it's coming along.

Melbourne-based startup Savic Motorcycles has hit the Australian Motorcycle Festival with a very sweet-looking production prototype of its upcoming electric cafe racer, a significant update to the first prototype we saw this time last year.

Savic Motocycles has just made its first public appearance at the Melbourne Motorcycle Expo, with a new electric cafe racer it's planning to release by 2020. The top-of-the-range Alpha bike will pack 60 kW (80 hp), with a max range around 250 km (155 mi) in town and a price tag around US$14,500.
