Skoda will get in on VW Group's electric car action at next month's Auto Shanghai, where it will reveal its first electric concept. And it'll have some fun, dropping a 311-mile (500-km) AWD electric powertrain and Level 3 autonomous driving system in a sleek, muscular SUV.

Hot on the heels of supermarket chain Waitrose unveiling a ​fleet of compressed natural gas delivery lorries, Skoda has whipped the covers off four CNG-powered trucks for its factory. The lorries will be used to ferry parts around the factory site, promising to cut costs and carbon emissions.
