The Caerus Steadicam was initially designed for wheelchair users to work in the film industry, but there are advantages also for the able-bodied since the weight distribution is spread out on the wheelchair, and there's no need for tracks or dollies.

Garrett Brown invented the Steadicam, a tool that revolutionized the field of film production. His latest creation is a device known as the Zeen, which helps mobility-challenged users not only to get around, but also to stand up and sit down.

​Broadcast-quality video cameras may be a lot harder to lug around than camera-equipped smartphones, but they also pack more inertia, resulting in smoother handheld pans and tilts. Tiffen claims to have replicated that inertia for smartphone users, in its new Steadicam Volt motorized stabilizer.
