Unlike quadcopters, smartphone-controlled fixed wing remote controlled aircraft have been a little thin on the ground. TobyRich, a German company specializing in smartphone-controlled gadgets, has now launched its SmartPlane, which it calls "the first smartphone-controlled airplane in the world."
