Nissan has announced a new rear vision system integrating a wide-aspect, hi-res LCD monitor with image processing into the traditional rearview mirror. In LCD mode, it provides an unobstructed rear view without blind spots, with image processing offering an enhanced image in adverse conditions.

More details have emerged on the Yamaha MOTIV.e city car EV. The 25 kW Zytek motor spins to 15,000 rpm and comes with advanced thermal management and control integration. The motor weighs just 13kg, while the gearbox weighs 11kg.
