    ​Why power your bike with just your legs, if your arms can be put to work too? That's the thinking behind the Varibike, an arm- and leg-powered bicycle. Two-wheelers aren't for everyone, though. It's with that in mind that the recumbent Varibike Trike is now being introduced.

    The Kick-Varibike, spotted at Erobike 2015 this week, can be propelled by leg or hand power, and the riding experience is likened by the firm to cross-country skiing or stand up paddling.

    Gizmag dropped by the Varibike stand at Eurobike 2013 where managing director Martin Kraiss revealed a couple of upgrades to the arm- and leg-propelled bicycle that are aimed at raising its road touring credentials.
