The eye-catching speaker grille
Two years in development, and 20 prototypes, the Dubstein is now being prepped for production
The Dubstein will come supplied with a dishwasher-safe, BPA-free drinks container, which slides into the main body
The insert can be removed to pop in a favorite bottle or can beverage
The current prototype makes use of custom electronics, but the production version will see third party components being merged in
The main body is home to a pair of 3 W, 40 mm full-range neodymium speaker drivers, a Class-D amp and a 24-bit DAC
Bluetooth 4.0 technology is used to wirelessly feed in some tunes from a paired device

I know I'm that guy again, but it seems that nowadays 2 people cannot talk to one another without having a smartphone lying between them playing "music". Noise must be everywhere, let's not have any awkward silence. I can already picture myself in a beer garden, and at every table they have 1 or more of those things, running their crap... I really wish that not everything would be sacrificed for money...

Aside of the noise intrusion to everyone else, why on earth would one want to have to hoist a (pound and a half?) of throbbing boomstein up every time I take a sip of whatever?
