Microsoft announced its partnership with TaylorMade earlier this year, and instantly brought a number of useful golfing features to its Band wearable. Well, things are about to get even better, with the fitness wearable now working with TaylorMade's myRoundPro service, providing in-depth post-round stats.

The previous TaylorMade integration allowed users to use the company's course finder inside the Microsoft Health app, select tees and automatically track which hole they're on via GPS. It also brought automatic shot detection to the wearable, while providing players with readings of how far they are from the hole.

Things are about to get even better: as of today, the Band will work with TaylorMade's golfing analytics service, providing Band-wearing golfers with the ability to see mapped shot locations, shot proximity to the hole, scoring average, fairway hits and more.

Of course, if you're into golf or not, then Microsoft's wearable will still track distance, calories, steps and heart rate.
